The 1957 Senior Class History

At last it was our turn to graduate. We proudly and anxiously awaited the moment
We started our Senior graduation activities with Class Day, in which each graduate took part or was mentioned.
Our Senior Banquet was held in the Fellowship Hall at Granbery Church,
and we later enjoyed a movie at one of the local theaters.
Our class had Betty Sue Long as valedictorian and Carlinda Schooler as salutatorian.
We were proud to have as graduates a mother and son, Mrs. Elizabeth Hall and son Sherman Hall,
and two sets of twins; Lee and Leo Carpenter, and Charles and Howard Hammond.
All too soon graduation was over, and although we separated to travel our various roads,
we knew memories we carried with us would never be forgotten.
As a reminder of our years at C. H. S. we donated a speaker stand to the school.
